mindfulness workshop in port elizabeth, south africa

Did you know you can train your brain to act the way you want it to? Yes you can! All you need is to be mindful. Mindfulness exercises weren’t invented just to help monks who live in those ancient temples. It’s for anyone who wants to see life from a different perspective.

Recognise this? You wake in the morning and decide that today is the day that you are going to be nice. You are not going to lose your temper. You are going to stay calm. But, long before you arrive at work you’ve already grumbled at your partner or spouse or kids for not putting the toothpaste cap back on, shouted a few choice words at the rude taxi driver who stopped in to the middle of the street and felt an overwhelming anxiety for the big amount of work waiting for you at the office.

enter … mindfulness

Mindfulness is not obscure or exotic. It’s familiar to us, because it’s what we already do, how we already are. We can be present. And guess what?  It doesn’t require us to change who we are. All we need to do is allow ourselves to cultivate these natural qualities with simple practices – that are scientifically demonstrated by the way – to benefit us in many ways.

So, come and join me for a fun-filled afternoon. We are going to laugh, go quiet, taste raisins, play with crayons, do some breathing and the find stillness in our bodies and minds.

When you go home, you will be armed with practical tips and exercises that you can apply anytime to bring yourself back in the moment. As a bonus, you will also know how to taste your food, really taste it, not just gobble it up as quickly as possible.

During this Workshop, you will learn how to…

Practice mindfulness

Increase your ability to relax while resting in the present moment

Improve your ability to cope with stressful situations

Release tensions and increase energy

Cultivate skills in being present and so bring more joy, creativity and happiness into your life
